The project aims to evaluate the efficacy of non-destructive testing thermography techniques in detecting low-velocity impact damage, particularly barely visible impact damage, in Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer panels. The research investigates the applicability of flash, halogen lamp thermography, and SHVT techniques based on the results obtained from ultrasonic scanning of composite plates with low-velocity impact damage.
