Processing of digital image correlation images for improvement of damage identification in structures

The aim of the project is to analyze damage detectability in structures using the DIC measurement technique and develop image processing methods to improve damage detectability in structures. For this purpose, the measurements of the selected structures with the presence of damage are collected during the implementation of the project. In the next step, image processing algorithms are developed and appropriately tuned to reach the improvement of damage detectability in the tested structures.
